Our editorial standards
HuntMyFlight aims to publish original, readable and practical material that answers real planning questions. Before an article goes live, an editor should check factual claims, the structure of the advice, spelling, source links and the right to use any associated images. Mass-produced pages that repeat the same information with only a country name changed do not meet our publishing standard.
Where a topic depends on changing information, we prioritise primary sources: airlines for baggage and fare conditions, airports for facilities, immigration authorities for entry requirements and official tourism or government resources for destination notices. Third-party reporting may provide background but should not be mistaken for an official rule.
First-hand experience and sources
We distinguish our own reported experience from desk research. An article should not claim the writer personally visited a hotel, tested a route, interviewed someone or reviewed a product unless that actually happened. Guides based on publicly available information should say so and avoid manufactured testimonials or unsupported superlatives.
We do not publish copyrighted text or photography from other websites without the necessary permission or licence. If an image is provided by a third party, its usage restrictions and required credits must be reviewed before publication.
Changes, corrections and transparency
Travel information may change without notice. We update the visible revision date when materially changing an article and encourage readers to check official sources immediately before a consequential decision. When we discover an error, we correct it promptly and explain significant changes when appropriate.
Readers can report corrections or rights concerns through Contact Us. Articles must not disguise paid placements as independent editorial content. If we introduce advertising, sponsorships or affiliate relationships, we will disclose applicable material relationships to readers.
